Seoul, June 19, 2017 — Educational Testing Service (ETS), creator of the TOEIC ® Program, ETS Korea, YBM and Partners for the Future Foundation, a charity arm of the American Chamber of Commerce in Korea (AMCHAM), together are running the fourth TOEIC Global Leadership Program from August 24–25 to support Korean students as they pursue future career goals.
This two-day, one-night program held at the YBM training institute in Hwaseong-si, Geyonggi-do, is a unique opportunity for participants to be trained and consulted by field professionals who will share insights on how to improve competency in a global workplace environment with added tips on English resumes and interviews. Those selected will also participate in various lectures and group projects that will help develop teamwork and leadership skills.
A total of 42 participants will be selected and recognized as TOEIC Global Leaders and will be awarded with a program certificate and giveaways. Four exemplary participants will be offered paid internship opportunities at ETS Korea based on attitude and performance in teamwork, leadership, creative and presentation skills. In addition, one more exemplary participant will be offered an opportunity to work at the Partners for the Future Foundation team at the American Chamber of Commerce in Korea through the AMCHAM Trainee Program.
Various prizes will be awarded to team and individual winners.
“It is a great pleasure to help each participant strengthen their global competence through the TOEIC ® Global Leadership Program,” said Paul Lee, Country Manager of ETS Korea. “This is the reason why ETS and its affiliated members in Korea will continue to provide a wide range of opportunities to develop essential competences for young Korean job seekers.”
To apply for this exclusive opportunity, applicants must be a sophomore or above at a four-year university (students on leave of absence and graduate students may also apply) and born in 1989 or after. Applicants will be required to fill out an application form and provide a school transcript and a valid score among TOEIC ® Listening and Reading, TOEIC ® Speaking or TOEIC ® Writing tests.
